I absolutely love the physical and mental challenge I find during each class. There is no time for me to worry about to do lists or grocery shopping, my body and mind are completely immersed in the class. The physical changes have been very rewarding. My core strength is the strongest its been in years and my body feels long and lean. I feel like our local community is so lucky to have the passionate owners of PLANKrva bring the Megaformer to RVA.

Alison & Tanya are not only phenomenal and strong women, they are two of the most hard working and passionate women I have ever met. Watching them literally build PLANKrva from an empty storefront and a concept to what it is today was an absolute pleasure. Their commitment to the Lagree method and to promoting health and fitness is inspiring. And as for the workout?!?! LORD....it's GOOD! As someone who is prone to exercise-related injuries, I find this workout to be the safest, yet also THE MOST intense. You truly discover muscle groups that you had no idea even existed, and the atmosphere is so calm and soothing. The instructors know exactly how to get your best out of you...it's always YOUR workout, therefore there's no intimidation based on your level of fitness. No matter how "in shape" you are, every work out will always be a challenge. If you're doing it right, there's definitely no way to carry on a conversation with your neighbor during a PLANK class!

After just a few weeks, I felt stronger and more toned. The workouts are very challenging and make my muscles hurt and shake like never before. But afterward, I feel like I'm walking on air! The trainers are skilled, patient and encouraging. After only a few weeks, I feel so much stronger. Now I find myself looking for ways to add another PLANK workout to my schedule. I am so happy to have discovered PLANKrva!

One of the most awesome, challenging workouts I've ever done. The studio is cute, has a great vibe and smells phenomenal (thanks to PLANKrva's signature scent candles). Don't let those Megaformer machines fool you...they may look innocent but they will make you scream from the inside out! They will become your best friend and your worst enemy. A love-hate relationship will quickly develop. During class, you will feel like your muscles are about to pop out, and you're sweating and dying, and may even think "what the hell am I doing to myself," but when the class is over, you will crave more. Tanya, one of the co-owners, is an amazing instructor. She focuses on form, movement and pushing you to your edge! I can't get enough of PLANKrva!

The feeling of accomplishment and "high" you feel after every class keeps me coming back for more! I've started to see my abs again since having my second child last year! It's the toughest workout I've ever experienced, but no pain, no gain!
